What is the ARERA Consumption Portal
The Consumption Portal is the institutional website set up by theEnergy Authority (ARERA) for free, secure and exclusive access to data on one’s electricity and gas supplies.
By accessing the portal you can consult:
- your historical consumption, broken down by time slots
- information on your supply, both technical (POD code/PDR identifying the meter, power, consumption readings) and contractual (name of supplier, market type and customer)
What the ARERA Consumption Portal is for
In addition to a general overview of one’s supplies, the Portal serves to analyze in detail how and when one’s consumption occurs and its trend over time. It allows, for example, to compare consumption for the same period (one month, two months, the same month in different years, and so on) and time slot.
By analyzing this data, it is possible to learn about one’s consumption habits, assess whether and how to change them to achieve greater savings and reduce the environmental impact that results from energy consumption. In addition, on the Portal you can choose whether to authorize third parties to process the data in order to have offers that are better suited to your needs and/or additional targeted services.
Selecting the different drop-down menus will provide information on the use of the Portal, useful explanations of energy quantities, and a report of one’s consumption.
