The implementation and achievement of the goals defined in the Roma Capitale Climate City Contract requires the continuous and sustained participation of citizens and stakeholders who will contribute to the city’s decarbonization journey. It is therefore critical that the city pivots to pursue concrete actions that justify the continued involvement of citizens and stakeholders but also engage new stakeholders who will contribute new actions.
What Rome does through the project
The project is focused on stakeholder engagement in order to strengthen collaboration between CCC partners and Roma Capitale and broaden the audience of climate contract partners.
Through specific workshops and events, both of a technical nature on energy and adaptation and specific insights into certain aspects of the transition to climate neutrality, stakeholders and the administration will be engaged to move synergistically toward neutrality. The track will investigate stakeholder flagship projects, not only to highlight them but to create synergies among stakeholders.
A relevant aspect will be dedicated to the participation of subsidiaries and investees, starting with Areti, which, with its distribution infrastructure development strategy, will be a main party in a workshop.
